We just want to let you know that from today we will no longer be hosting Redcar Fund Seekers on the Idox funding search platform.
We are genuinely sad to be leaving the Idox system, but as two small local charities, Tees Valley Rural Action and RCVDA the cost could not be justified after an in‑depth analysis of our user activity.
We also listened carefully to feedback from current users, many of whom told us that community groups needed access to more locally focused funding opportunities.
In response, we are excited to be developing a new, dedicated Redcar funding information platform at: 
www.redcarfundseekers.org.uk which will be live today.
Importantly, Redcar Fund Seekers will keep its name—there is no name change, just a new look and a more locally tailored approach.
This platform will grow over the coming months, offering:
- Tailored local funders and grant opportunities
- Funding opportunities relevant specifically to the #redcar area, local and national.
- Developing resource hub with guidance on applying for funding, top tips, templates, and contact points for additional support
As we build out these new features, please bear with us—there will be steady improvements, and you will start to see the site develop over the coming weeks.
If you would like to remain on our mailing list for relevant funding opportunities and support, you don’t need to do anything. If you would prefer to opt out, just let us know.
